Pinkys Nature Hideout
This is officially our favorite spot for a quiet weekend away. This ended up being our second time out here and the experience is always PERFECT from start to finish. They provide you with so much for the stay that you basically don’t have to worry if you forgot something. Can’t wait for the next trip to this little slice of heaven.

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at Pinky's Bunkhouse and had the best time. The home offers all the amenities you could need for a weekend away including a really nice coffee maker, easy to use grill, gas stove/oven, pots/pans, full size fridge, and homemade ice cream from the host! The hot tub was lovely at night and you could see the stars for miles.
We ventured out to a nearby winery and it was only about 5 minutes from the location of Pinky's and had nice wines.
Our dog also loved his stay! He enjoyed watching the wild turkeys and other animals from the safely fenced in yard. Definitely recommend!
Trudi
This was our second visit to Pinky’s and there are no words to describe how amazing it is! Pinky’s offers all of the amenities of home-including a coffeemaker, full size fridge, and dishwasher-but with the most serene, beautiful landscape. From the bbq grill to the nice hot tub and several hiking trails on site, you don’t have to leave to have a great time! Our husky, Kobe, really enjoyed our hikes throughout the day. We can’t wait to visit again soon!
Daya
Wow!!!!! What a magical place! Don’t hesitate to book a stay at BirdSong! We stayed at Pinky’sBunkhouse and couldn’t have had a more beautiful, restful, relaxing and fun trip. The Bunkhouse had everything we needed to be comfortable and more! She really thought of everything! (Big bonus forthe washer/dryer!). But the highlight for us were the trails, hidden turn out discoveries and the look out points!
Zen Point is worth the stay alone!
And to have that view to enjoy in solace felt like a true gift, especially after the Forest Therapy Trail. (Make sure to participate in the Forest Therapy Trail soon after arrival, it sets the tone for your trip.)
Thank you Laurie for sharing the wonderful retreat you’ve created.
Kim
Laurie is a great host. She is great at communicating from before our stay until our stay. Make sure to bring all your food and beverages since there aren’t ant stores close by. Perfect location to getaway for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The views are amazing and love all the trail options within the property. Definitely will be coming back!
Ron
Gorgeous, tranquil place. Really peaceful, clean and great hosts.
Sara
My two girlfriends and I had such a magical stay at Pinky’s Bunkhouse. The space was clean, comfortable, stylish and well-equipped. Laurie and her co-hosts were kind and communicative and even greeted us with cookies! The very best thing about this property is that it is extremely peaceful and secluded… we shared the property with the hosts, but felt like we were by ourselves in themiddle of a beautiful, spring desert retreat. The hiking trails and hot tub were heaven. We had a wonderful time.
Edith
This was my first attempt at an Air BNB experience and it was absolutely wonderful, thanks to Pinky's Bunkhouse and the Hosts. My little family loved it so much that we hope to make this a yearly tradition.
Chrissy
AMAZING getaway. Second time at Laurie’s airbnb, both experiences exceeded my expectations! Perfect place to relax with the fur babies and enjoy the starry night and beautiful landscapes.
Jade
This place is amazing! A private and quiet getaway with incredible views and fresh air. The house and property are gorgeous and beautifully crafted. Can’t wait to come back.
Jonathan
Pinky’s Bunkhouse is the perfect weekend getaway!! Laurie provides you with everything you need(large fridge, kitchen supplies, coffee, and even waffle mix). The yard and hiking trails were great for our small dog, who had the time of her life. We did a lot of stargazing too, and the hot tub was a nice touch! We visited a winery just down the road that had a wonderful wine selection and was also dog friendly. My fiancé and I can’t recommend this place enough!!
Marscha
I’m already looking forward to going back. It’s a beautiful little bunkhouse with everything weneeded. The location is great with really nice trails right on the property. It’s a very peaceful and awesome location! Also close by to great trails outside, the eagle rock trail is less than 30 min away.
Sarah
Stayed at Pinky’s Bunkhouse for the second time and it was awesome! House has everything youneed and more. New hot tub really hit the spot in the evenings! Host is absolutely amazing! Surely never disappointing!
Cesar
Pinky’s Bunkhouse is a perfect spot for private getaway. Laurie is an amazing host, extremelyresponsive. You have everything you need to relax and spend quality time with family/friends. Our stay was in dead summer (August) It was hot outside but the AC kept the place nice and cool. The hot tub is perfect touch to a relaxing stay! I recommend this place to anyone who loves the outdoors and is seeking peace and quiet. We will definitely be staying there again!!
Katie
My husband and i were looking for a little get away for the weekend away from the city. Pinkeys wasthe perfect place. Laurie greet us when we arrive and showed us around. The place was clean and had everything we needed for a nice get away. There are some great trails nearby. I wouldrecommended checking out Hawk Watch Winery that is just down the road.
We look forward to booking again soon
Trudi
Pinky’s Bunkhouse is awesome! It has all of the amenities you could ever need-a large fridge, stove, oven, and microwave. We used the gas grill to bbq dinner every night and made coffee and waffles(thanks for the yummy waffle mix, organic butter and maple syrup!) for breakfast. The hot tub is so relaxing and stargazing was amazing when we were there.
We stayed during the hottest week but the AC worked well and kept us cool, especially when we came back from walking one of the great trails on the property (Zen Point is definitely worth the hike if you’re up for a more challenging stroll)! You will see a lot of wildlife and the bird feeder in the front yard is definitely a hot spot!
Laurie and Stacy were very friendly and responsive whenever we reached out to them, which wasmuch appreciated! They provided great suggestions when we had questions about where to go and what to do in the area. We will definitely be back!
Kimberly
This is the perfect place to get away and unwind. We packed all of our favorite foods, games, swimsuits and walking shoes. It was really all we needed. Each day we explored a different trail or look out point. The hot tub is perfect spot to relax after a long walk.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. They provide waffle/pancake mix, coffee and creamer which was a sweet touch.
The decor is so adorable and thoughtful with rustic and modern touches. You instantly feel at homewhen you walk in, everything is so cozy.
The views are spectacular! Even just from the front porch of Pinky’s. If you explore around theproperty in the marked trails you will get to see even more. We hiked up to Zen Point near sunset and enjoyed some wine. There are two lookout spots up there with wooden chairs and a little table which was perfect to enjoy our wine.
We brought along our dog and he was in doggie heaven. The front of the bunkhouse is fenced so could have a little more freedom while we hung out in the porch playing games.
We were able to have a fire the nights we were there so we did enjoy sitting around the fire pit.
Laurie will give you plenty of suggestions for nearby wineries and excursions but you will be so taken by the amenities of Pinky’s and the beauty of her property you will never want to leave.
Helpful note: we lost cellular service a few miles from the property. When we arrived we had no wayof calling to let them know we were there for check-in. Someone will meet you there to let you in and give you a little run down.
We had to leave and drive back down the hill to catch a signal. I suggest calling while you still haveservice about a few miles away so they know when you are right down the street. There is WiFi so once you are checking in you can switch to WiFi calling.
It was not a bother but will save you time. Stacy was super nice while checking us in and getting usaquatinted with the amenities.
We only have positive things to say about our stay and we definitely want to come back. However next time I’m booking more days, for sure!
Emily
We had so much fun, I don’t even know where to begin! Our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids under 6 yrs) and our medium dog were comfortable during our short stay. Pinky’s is very private and we didn’t see/hear any other guests. This was great for our rescue pup that’s pretty fearful of strangers. The trails on the property were well maintained and marked with signage and Stacy had great suggestions of what areas would be fun for the kids. Speaking of fun, Pinky’s has so much to offer! We took advantage of the fire pit (once the wind died down), hot tub, lounging on the porch, and stargazing. The kids and dog enjoyed playing in the yard, which is secure and provided lots of lizards and birds for entertainment. Inside the bunkhouse was cozy and clean, with the basics supplied. The mattress was better than most AirBnB’s and the directTV was appreciated for when the kids wanted to watch a show. When it was time to go home the kids begged to stay, so safe to say we all had a great time! Would stay again with or without kids
Kalei
Absolutely loved this place! They have everything you need for a getaway weekend. The decor is so fun and homey and the hot tub is incredible. They had the place stocked up with plenty of dish ware, towels, soaps, extra TP/paper towels. A quiet and calm area with a ton of natural beauty.
Andrew
This place is really cool and isolated. It snowed about a foot the nights we were there. Saw some wild turkeys and you hear the coyotes at night. We would definitely stay again.
Sarah
Such a gem! Couldn’t say enough good things about it. Everything was SO clean, made me feel very comfortable. It’s also very dog friendly which made it even better. There is no need to leave thisproperty. Trails are included on the property and they are great! It’s a true retreat! Oh! And we got to see so much wildlife. Great to be in nature!
Joanne
My boyfriend and I enjoyed every second of our stay at this unique stay. You will love the peace and quiet this house will give you. Fully stocked with everything you need (and more). Host is very friendly. Couldn’t ask for a better host and place!!
Pinky’s bunkhouse was a wonderful private retreat. Everything was spotless when we arrived. Lauriepersonally welcomed us and gave some great tips and advice on things to do in the area along with how to operate the various heaters.
My wife and I especially loved sitting in the hot tub and gazing at the starlit sky. There were also hiking trails on site which had breathtaking views of the valleys and we had a lot of fun identifying animal tracks in the snow and mud during our hike.
Overall, we had a great stay and would love to stay here again!
Laurie’s tiny home is a perfect weekend getaway. We spent a relaxing weekend on the property anddriving around the area. Great local hikes, interesting towns within driving distance, and comfortable digs. The pup loved the fenced in yard, and we loved sitting in the hot tub at night under the stars. Highly recommended!

Bluebird Tiny House
Blue Bird is a dreamy and magical place! It's a perfect and wonderful space to unwind and relax.Laurie welcomed us to the property and gave us a walk through which we appreciated greatly. The beautiful birds and scenery are so peaceful and lovely. The accommodations are very comfortable.Blue Bird is an adorable, well-thought out home away from home! We enjoyed stargazing, grilling homemade pizzas on the BBQ, melting s'mores over the fire pit, taking walks on the fantastic trails, and just enjoying time in nature. Our goldendoodle pup loved it too. We can't wait to come back! It was an awesome getaway!
Melinda
Book now, you will not regret it!
Such a magical little place, private space, you get to reconnect with Mother Nature but with thecomfort of home. Beautiful stargazing night skies! Wondrous hiking trails, with unexpected treasures. You guys! This place is a hidden gem! And to top it off Jackie and Laurie were thesweetest and so welcoming.
I cannot wait to visit again.
Rosalind
This is my second stay at Bluebird Tiny Home and it was just as lovely as the first. And the homemade cookies were also a nice added touch! Highly recommend staying here - you won't regret it!
Melanie
BOOK IT NOW! Staying here it was clear the birdsong team put a lot of thought towards sharing this space with their guests. I needed flexibility with check-in because of my dog and they were very accommodating. When we arrived, there were homemade cookies and dog treats waiting for us along with a detailed note that helped us understand a few more details of our stay. There are so many good things to mention about this stay - but we really enjoyed having a private space for ourselves and the pup to explore the yard (he's a bit nervous and did great here). The space is very clean and well decorated - but also the AMENITIES! You will want to bring ingredients to cook with, but they really do have the perfect amenities that make it easy to want to grill out with gorgeous views. I appreciated having cooking staples and appropriate kitchen utensils - even the detail in the organic cleaning and bathroom supplies. We took the dog on trail walks, grilled out, went for a dip in the hot tub, drank wine by the fire, got competitive playing cornhole and scrabble - it was just thebest trip! Staying here it was just really clear that they put thought and effort into providing guests with everything to make their stay comfortable. We will definitely be back.

The Bluebird - Rugged Meets Class
Wow! There are so many wonderful things I want to say about the Bluebird and the retreat. For me, everything was perfect. But let's start with the hosts, Laurie, Jackie, and Mike. Jackie made the check-in process super simple and greeted me with a delicious plate of healthy homemade cookies! They were very responsive and easy to communicate with. And Mike was so nice to even deliver to me a little leftover firewood they had. Both Jackie and Mike were so warm and inviting and made me feel right at home.
The Bluebird is this quaint old horse trailer converted into a tiny little home that is absolutely perfect. Beautifully decorated and completely furnished. You would think this tiny space would feel cramped, but you would be mistaken. Two doors lead out to the outside deck and patio that extends the living space which made it feel so much more spacious. The space was very comfortable with lots of seating and a very well-appointed kitchen. I even had the pleasure of entertaining a couple of my friends for dinner on my first night. I was able to pull that off without a hitch. The bed and bedding were quite comfortable. They went big in the bathroom, as well. The patio had a sundeck that led down to the fenced-in yard with a fire pit. My dog absolutely loved having a yard to run around in and chase lizards. Molly and I felt right at home in this place. Such a little gem!
The property itself is absolutely magical. You really have to experience it to appreciate its wonder. It was tremendous fun exploring all of the nooks and crannies the property had to offer, and discovering treasure after treasure and trails that lead to STUNNING vistas was exciting. Keep an eye out for the Wind Phone on the Forest Trail. That was a very nice touch! It was very peaceful and yet fun. If you ride a OneWheel and love riding trails, this is a place for you and your next adventure. They were very gracious to allow me on their webs of trails. I love riding trails on my OneWheel, and I spend hours out there. SO MUCH FUN! I was a kid in a candy store. Anyway, there were some beautiful spots to sit and be quiet and look out into the distance, as well. This place is truly magical and one-of-a-kind! I can't wait to go back.
Do keep in mind you're out in the mountains and the closest store is about 15 minutes away and a restaurant is more than 20 miles away. So I recommend planning accordingly. Thankfully, there are wineries very close by. ;-)
Again, Jackie, Laurie, and Mike were the perfect hosts. If you're looking for a little ruggedness but also like the comforts of home, this is your place.
Beth
I can’t fully express what a beautiful tiny home and space Laurie and co has created at Birdsong. Wehad an amazing time exploring Warner Springs, visiting the local wineries, hiking trails and taking in the wonderful scenery. The bluebird tiny home does not disappoint and is well equipped for aperfectly peaceful stay. We hiked around Birdsong and also parts of the Pacific Crest Trail during the days. Relaxed making dinner and soaking in the hot tub each night. Frank, our dog, loved everyminute of it. Shout out to Jackie for an easy check in and dropping off cookies. We loved it and will hopefully be back soon.
Faith
Laurie's bluebird airbnb was absolutely perfect. Honestly one of the best Airbnb's I have ever been in. Super unique and isolated for those travelers wanting to get a break from your day to day life. Theplace was clean with plenty of amenities including tons of local trails, a fenced in backyard area for your pups, a grill, a jacuzzi, a firepit, a hammock, and more!
The kitchen also has most of the tools you would need to make delicious food. (important since there aren't many food options near the area)
If you are debating between Blue Bird versus another outback getaway, choose Blue Bird. You will love it!
Ina
The reviews don't do this tiny home any justice. It was beautiful, serene, and such a relaxing weekend getaway. This home is equipped with everything that you will need for a nice getaway.Thank you to the hosts for being so amazing & keeping constant communication with us. We will be back for sure! :)
Margaux
This tiny house was one of the best vacation rentals I've ever stayed at! From the unit itself to the beautiful outdoor area to the therapy trails, the property is full of really thoughtful details and is clearly so well-maintained and loved. It's a perfect destination for a solo or couple's trip and also a perfect spot if you're a homebody or lazy traveller--there are trails all over the property so you can still feel like you're seeing the area without even getting in the car. The owners were so generous with the spaces and even let me check out some of the campsites that weren't being used when I was there. Mike and Jackie who checked me in were really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend going a little further into Warner Springs and hiking the Eagle Rock Trail and visiting the cute little craft beer spot in Dodge Valley, Garage 79 (we got amazing fish tacos there on a weekend afternoon. Check their IG account for updates!). Birdsong Backcountry Retreat exceeds expectations!
Beth
This is a unique place to stay and we had an amazing time! The house is ideal with a bunch of amenities and the trails are a must. And it’s dog friendly :)
Ashley
We had an amazing time here. Gorgeous home, yard, trails and sights. So relaxing and quaint. We spent out Christmas here and even had so much fun with inclement weather. Be cautious of coyotes if you have small dogs as we saw a few right outside the home - which we thought was super cool! Really close to fun adventures like Anza Borrego state park and we went off roaring. 10/10 experience and our pup loved it too!
Ronen & Galia
Our stay was really great!
The space itself is very comfortable, clean and organized. We weren’t missing anything. Everything was in great condition. The outside area is also great. The hot tub is perfect and there are plenty of places to hang out comfortably. And then there’s the spacious land to take some nature walks!
Overall highly recommended for those who want to get away from it all!
Holly
This is my second time staying here and I love it so much! Such a good little get away either with your spouse, pup, or solo!
Such nice hikes and just cozy all around!
Olivia
This place is a little gem! We had such a great time and enjoyed all that the space and property hadto offer. Although small, it was definitely enough space for two of us and our large dog. Highlights included the spa (for drinking your morning coffee or stargazing at night), the soaking tub, hammock, deck, comfy bed and linens, and the beautiful hiking trails. Overall a really relaxing stay. We highly recommend for a couple or solo traveler and their furry companion.
Chris
This tiny house was perfect. It was private and beautiful. You definitely feel one with nature. The views were amazing. Perfect place to getaway from all the hustle and bustle. The tiny house didn’tfeel tiny at all. We loved the outdoor space and you definitely want to bring your fur baby here! It was all fenced in. Our fur baby loved it here also.
There are no stores close by so you do want to make sure you bring everything before getting there. We will be staying here again.
Cody
My wife and I had a fantastic time at the Bluebird Tiny House. We were hoping for a nice relaxing weekend to help us unwind, and Laurie’s place provided everything we needed in order toaccomplish that. We spent our evenings hanging out in the fenced yard, which our dog loved as well. I’d recommend the tiny house to anyone and we hope to visit again in the future!
Holly
If you are looking for a quaint cozy spot this is it! This stay was so amazing. Very secluded and felt very peaceful. The hikes are very doable and very pretty especially at sunset!
The staff here definitely goes above and beyond! I had car troubles and they saved me from getting my car towed and went into town for me and brought me back what I needed!
My dog absolutely loved the area as well! He loves running around and loved the hikes as well.
The tiny house is so so perfect for a romantic weekend or even just a good get away by yourself or with a friend! The jacuzzi was so special at night with all the stars as well!
Definitely will be making this an annual trip for sure!
Yen
This place is one of the most special properties I’ve ever been to. The interior is just lovely - full kitchen, comfortable bed, AC, amazing bath tub! The outside is perfectly curated to relax and take inthe sights and sounds of nature. The trails on the property were such a nice surprise and the therapy trails were beyond special. I will definitely be back!
Natassia
Wow! My husband and I came for a weekend getaway. We had the most wonderful time here. The place was quaint and quiet. We had complete and total privacy. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed watching the birds around the property and truly enjoying the nature around us. We saw a cougar strolling through the brush in the evening and enjoyed the stars in the hot tub. We were able to take a stroll through the trails in the morning and enjoyed the 30 minute walk together. We also were able to visit a local winery and bought a couple of bottles to take home with us. We absolutely loved it here and cannot wait to come back for another getaway!
Katelyn + Kyle
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. We enjoyed the land and immersed ourselves in the trails and hikes. Everything and detail was relaxing with a therapeutic twist. Watching thesunset each night was perfection. With this being our first experience with a tiny home, we were not disappointed. Our fur babies enjoyed themselves as well. Our 5 month old puppy enjoyed the hike so much, she kept running up & down the trails. They loved chasing the lizards and bird watching the birds at the bird feeder. Even though there was the small hiccup with the water pipe, it was handled quickly and efficiently. Thank you again Laurie, we can’t wait to come back and experience the other properties.
Donte
Very charming and perfectly cozy. There was so much attention to comfort, convenience, and qualityput into this gorgeous home. In a very private location surrounded by trails and nature. This tiny house offered plenty of space for my wife, me, our two boys, and our two dogs! Thr kids lovedwaking up to waffles made with the provided waffle maker and mix :D. The dogs loved exploring the fenced yard freely in the day time too.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil, private vacation (that also happens to be fairly close to some great wineries near Old Town Temecula).
Myra
Absolutely had a wonderful time! My boyfriend loves being outdoors/hiking, but I am not a big fan of that. However, Birdhouse was the perfect location! I got to sleep comfortable and the trails were easy enough for someone like me with no experience to enjoy. We recommend you check out this location. You will not regret it! We will definitely be back. Laurie and Stacey are amazing host. Thank you so much your your hospitality.
Alex
We could not have more happy with our stay at Blue Bird! This was our first tiny house experience, and it was above and beyond all the amenities of normal life just simplistic! It was a relaxing retreatwith the spa under the stars and beautiful trails off the property! Make sure to take some wine and snacks to valley view for an amazing sunset!
They really thought of everything you might need to make your stay enjoyable and it was all in the tiny home waiting for you! Above any accommodations we expected!
We were celebrating our one year anniversary and made a vow this would be a place we celebrate anniversarys to come! Can’t wait to book with Laurie again! Special thanks to Stacy for meeting us on property to show all the amenities and giving us some amazing tips for the property!
Oh and our dog was sooo happy the entire time! He just like us was not ready to leave!
Sarah
Where do I start about this amazing space? The pictures on the listing make this space know as something incredible, but in person, it’s MAGIC! We loved that the property had other “camps” but each place was so intentionally created and planned that we never saw or heard anyone else. The full-sized fridge and kitchen was perfect and we loved using the grill to cook burgers one night. Stacy greeted us upon arrival and was so friendly and warm, but impressed us the most was all the information about the property and where to hike. It was AMAZING! She also told us the well water was delicious, and coming from two water snobs, she wasn’t lying! We were WOWED! Every detail was curated with love - from the hiking bags, walking sticks, waffle maker and supplies - we just fell in love with our entire experience. It was HOT (definitely check the weather), but we knew what to expect being form SoCal anyway. However, there was an portable AC unit inside the space which worked like a charm! This space was so magical, I planned my entire proposal to my partner around it. They said yes over morning coffee! All that to say, in conclusion, this has by far been the best Airbnb experience and we already plan to make this trip more than once a year!
Alfonso
We absolutely loved staying at the Bluebird! The location was amazing with so many trails to explore on the property & a great winery just a few miles down the road. The home was beautifully decoratedand very functional as well with an amazing outdoor area. Everything you could possibly need throughout your stay is there from a BBQ, jacuzzi, flashlights, hiking sticks & so much more it felt likewe were at home. We were also so glad that we were able to bring our two dogs & they had the best time exploring. Overall we can’t wait to visit again!
Rosalind
Wow! This place is a gem. The posted photos are beautiful but don't come close to the reality of actually being there. Within minutes of arrival, I felt the tension leave my neck and shoulders and could feel the positive and healing energy of the place seep into my body. As mentioned by anotherreviewer, the little touches really take this home to the next level. My family and I had such a relaxing and enjoyable respite staying at Bluebird Tiny House. It's also perfect for the family fur baby: my dogwas very entertained by the two lizards that live in the oak tree - though I don't think the lizards felt the same way ;).
Rebekkah
Bluebird is simply put a like slice of the sublime. The accommodation has been beautifully handcrafted and many thoughtful touches. The bed was super comfy and the hot tub under the stars was amazing!!!! Laurie was there for easy check-in and showed us local places to walk. We will definitelybe back.
A++++++
Rudy
This is an amazing escape into the "wilderness". Tucked away in nature. Lane & Laurie have carved out a "complete" natural experience on their huge property, with map of hiking/walking trails. Ideasfor what to do locally and even a stocked pantry of spices, condiments, coffee and waffle maker - things that were not expected. The jacuzzi on the deck under the stars with a fire going in the fire-pit was the perfect remedy from the hustle and bustle of city life especially during this crazy pandemic. The layout, design and decor of the tiny home made it not only functional but enjoyable, comfortable and beautiful. Little touches like a "wine bag" in the freezer, hiking bag by the door and walking stickswere placed for use and convenience. Overall can't wait to book again for our next get-away! HIGHLY recommended!
Chrissy
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Definitely a little slice of heaven Laurie has here. My dobermans very much approved of the space and I felt secure letting them roam around in the fenced yard as I enjoyed thehot tub. She made great recommendations for places near by and I loved the space so much I asked to stay an extra night. All of us were sad to leave but are excited to make a trip back very soon!
Matthew
Blue Bird Tiny house was a is a great place to escape the city life and relax in nature. It was nice tohang out on the deck and enjoy the surroundings while our two dogs enjoyed the fenced in landscape. The property has some nice trails for short hikes and a couple epic vistas to watch thesunsets. Hanging out in the hot tub under the stars was the perfect way to end the day. Located a short drive away you can find plenty of things to do and even some great wineries too.
Pindee
This place is an absolute gem! The location, sights, and trails are stunning! The place itself is beautiful, comfortable, and has everything you need. The fenced yard is a great addition which allowed my dog to roam around freely and safely. Laurie also provided great recommendations for wineries in the area and where to watch the best sunsets. I could not be happier with my stay! Cannot wait to come back again!

Camp Chester
What an unexpected retreat!!!!! This location gives the dry camping element(s) without the roughing it!!! Fully bedded tent, warm shower, FULLY stocked kitchen with grill and sink! Our site was gated and large, so our dog loved roaming freely while we played corn hole or painted rocks. There is very little preparation/packing needed, it’s all there! The trails are just right, safe enough for family’s but steep enough for a good workout. My kids wondered around the property with ease and security enjoying the gym, archery, trails and more!
Vladimir
Wondering if it’s truly as great as it looks in the photos? Look no further and book it! Incredible spot to unwind, relax and recharge.
Jadwiga
We had a wonderful time at Camp Chester. A very special place tucked away in the woods. With allthe comforts of glamping, hot water heated bed etc. great stay for family and a dog with nice easy and well marked hikes.
Monique
This is our second time visiting Camp Chester. Each time we’ve had a fantastic time and really enjoyed getting away without losing all of the necessities like WiFi. We’ve brought our two year oldtwice and it’s the perfect location! The only downside this time was the heat but that wasn’t any ones fault! Thank you again!
Susan
If you're looking for a nice little getaway to be with nature but need modern comforts, this is the place for you! We really enjoyed our stay at Camp Chester! My husband hates camping but I love it! So Camp Chester was the perfect compromise! Laurie was a great host. All thoughtful touches to the campsite which included a Glamp tent, heater, and heated mat. The camper trailer converts the indoor seating to a double bed and there's a single bed on the opposite side. A coffee maker with different syrups, a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and all the necessary tools to make a nice meal on the grill or gas stove on the grill. There's an outdoor kitchen sink with a very organized selection of bins containing tools/plates/pans. And a table on the deck outside of the camper trailer near the grill so food can be served right away. The bathroom looks out into nature as you sit on the compost toilet. We weren't sure what to expect with this but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! The water heater works very nicely for a nice hot shower in the open bathroom too! We had our 2 yr old toddler with us, our dog, and our friends who also had their dog. It was the perfect setting to be in so that our pets and child did not go roaming off into the wilderness since it was nicely fenced in. There's a lot of privacy as no one is around us. We saw a few other guests hiking by on their way back to their accommodations on Laurie's property but with 85 acres around, we felt like we were the only ones on the property! We woke up to a few roosters crowing and a few wild birds that looked like quail make "gobble gobble" noises but we were awake when we heard them. We didn't hear anything when we were in the trailer. Our friends who stayed in the Glamp tent didn't hear anything either. They slept soundly and loved the comforts of the bed. It was a little chilly in the evenings so we were thankful for the heaters provided to us. One down side which is completely out of the owner's control is we couldn't have a campfire. But Laurie did create a nice atmosphere by placing solar lanterns in the fire pit with wild sage and string lights to give us a fake one. But it just wasn't the same since it was chilly out at night and a campfire would have really hit the spot. But that wasn't a deal breaker for us but just be prepared that campfire may not be an option when you stay here. We just really enjoyed the entire experience of being out in nature! The hammocks were great during the day for a quick little nap under the trees. And the hiking trails on the property were great. We're not avid hikers and with dogs and a toddler, this hike was a great option to do something outside of our camp and explore the property. We will definitely be back again!

The spot is one of our favorite spots we’ve ever visited. Once we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful and open the spot was. The tiny camper was a great touch and was such a wonderfulamenity to have. In addition, the outside tent was a great place to rest and relax at the end of the night and listen to the animals ro around.
